European Textiles in the Khanenko Museum, Kyiv: Approaches to Style and Contextualization using the example of Italian silks.
Our speaker Kateryna Hotsalo is a part of the education department at the Khanenko Museum in Kyiv, Ukraine. She develops museum programs for teenagers and children and conducts excursions for museum visitors. She is also a curator of the museum programs for blind visitors. At the same time, Kateryna is a curator of the museum’s collection of European textiles. Her PhD research is devoted to the Italian fabrics from the collection of the Khanenko Museum.
